Yves Trudeau (Montreal, Quebec, Kanada / Canada), 1964

Lahkotna, z izrezanimi odprtinami, ki rahljajo njeno maso, zanikuje tektonsko trdnost in domala zalebdi v zraku nad svojim podstavkom.

Lokacija: ob Domu gasilcev, Ravne na Koroškem (material: varjene izrezane jeklene plošče Železarne Ravne).

Assembled from irregularly cut, smooth steel plates, this pronounced vertical composition triggers a wide range of organic and figurative associations.

Serving as an arresting roadside landmark along the arterial route, its visual impact centers entirely on a dynamic silhouette that continuously shifts as the spectator circumambulates the work. Light and buoyant, with cut-out apertures that loosen solid mass, it appears to defy tectonic weight and virtually levitates above its foundation.

Location: by the Fire Station (Dom gasilcev), Ravne na Koroškem (material: welded shaped steel plates from the Ravne Steelworks).
