Ernst Eisenmayer (Dunaj / Vienna, Avstrija / Austria – Velika Britanija / UK), 1970

Lokacija: Prevalje (glavna ulica), material: masivni varjeni jekleni profili / traverze Železarne Ravne.

The early work of self-taught British-Austrian sculptor Ernst Eisenmayer is distinguished by expressive figurative rendering, portrait busts, and profound humanist pathos. Around the time of his residency in Ravne, he began exploring modern, rigorously analytical abstract geometric structures — his sculpture along the main thoroughfare in Prevalje stands as one of his most coherent visual achievements of this period.

Embodying the concept of »Double Gates« (as he titled the work), Eisenmayer artfully played with the elusive negative sculptural space, assembling solid steel beams with minimalist discipline into a calm, poised, and sophisticated sculptural presence.

Location: Prevalje (main street), material: heavy welded structural steel beams from the Ravne Steelworks.
