Anko Waterfalls

Description

The area of Jezersko is situated in northern Slovenia in the heart of the mountains—between the Karavanke and Kamnik-Savinja Alps. It used to be a very popular touristic destination in the first part of the 20th century.

DIRECTIONS: From the road to the border pass, there is a sign and a left turn to the Anko farm house. A forest path along the right side of the brook leads to the spring with mineral water. Orientation is not easy, so the best way is to follow the brook up the stream. The 10 m high waterfall is hidden in the ravine. Note: This hike is not recommended for people with a low sense of orientation.
