Bohinj lake (Bohinjsko jezero) and
countryside are a great destination for people who like unspoiled nature.
High mountains and clean fresh lake water are unique treasure of Slovenia.
There are numerous waterfalls and gorges. One of the less known are waterfalls
of Ribnica. Only a few kilometres nort-eastern of the lake are two waterfalls
and terrific gorge of Ribnica.
Access to the waterfalls is easy. Fine path leads
to them. But gorge of Ribnica is dangerous and not recomended for a visit
- only for well prepared hikers. Helmet is required. |
