Slapovi v Kotu

City Viewvirtual excursion

WATERFALLS IN THE KOT VALLEY Kot valley is one of the starting points to the highest mountain of Slovenia - Triglav. There are no many mountaineers, who know that the valley made in the glacial period has also nice waterfalls. Lower waterfalls have height about 10 m and their shape is very interesting - like right angle.

Access: Approach to the lower waterfalls is very easy and could be nice excursion from the Mojstrana. From Mojstrana leads a road to the Bled. After 4 km is a turning to the Kot valley. After 4 km of the macadam road there is end of the road. Marked path leads above the valley, but lower waterfalls can not be seen from it. We can orientate by the dry stream of Kotarica. If we follow along the right bank up to the stream, it becomes streaming and the lower waterfalls could be seen very soon.
