| Most na Soči, old name St. Lucy, is a settlement which
is situated on the natural prominence above the confluence of Soča and
Idrijca rivers. Here it is an important crossing which connects the neighbour
areas - that is why here it was a settlement above river channels of Idrijca
and Soča even in the prehistoric time. The feature of the area is the accumulation
lake which was made in late 30. of 20th century as the accumulation
lake of hydroelectric power plant Doblar. Nowadays the lake is a tourist
attraction with the small tourist ship. |
