Lendava is the most eastern town in Slovenia. A vine road is a great attraction beside many culture and historical points of interest. Nearby is a hot-thermal spring which is fine for a rheumatism.

There use to be a soldierly stronghold named Halicanum in a time of Old Romans. The first church was consecrated in the 9 th century, in the 14 th century Lendava became a market town. Turks and Hungarian ruled over Lendava in the 17 th century. Lendava is a town since 1867.
