Waterfalls of the Blatnica brook
are accessible from the settlement Begunje. There is a gorge with three
waterfalls with the heigh from 5 up to the 12 m. Walk by the path at the
bottom of the gorge is a fantastic escape from summer heat.
Some parts of the path are very narrow, so boots
are recommended.
ACCESS:
Path to the Blatnica is not marked but it is
quite easy accessible.
From Begunje follow a road to the Sv. Peter.
When the road pass brook Blatnica just follow a fine path along the brook
up to the stream.
The first and the second waterfall are easily
missed but the third waterfall is also the end of that part of the gorge.
From the last houses in Begunje to the third
waterfall is about 30 min. of easy walk.
