Regional Museum of Murska Sobota is located
in the renaissane castle situated in the city park. Permanent exhibition,
awarded with Special Commendation of European Museum Forum for
the year 1999, tells the story of the life of the region on the Mura
river from the prehistoric times and up to the present moment.
