Tolsti vrh
Deska (1970 m elevation) is a saddle-like peak above the pasture Vodotočnik and the watershed of Lučka Bela. The name Deska "the board" justifies the leveled 'meadow' ridge, towards the summit, which otherwise defied with the dwarf mountain pine. Ridge Lastovec (1840 m elevation) - Deska - Tolsti vrh (1986 m elevation) extends in the direction of the south-north and can represent a horse shoe hiking tour with start at a hunting lodge on Brežič (1500 m elevation) to ridge "Deska" and back to pasture Podvežak (1564 m elevation), a total of 2.5 h walking.
The peak of Lastovec is difficult to access (inaccessible) due to dense dwarf mountain pines area. Before the 2003 fire, the entire Lastovec area was densely overgrown with dwarf mountain pines, and today it is covered with the faded remains of the thick of the former pines.
The summit of Tolsti Vrh is overgrown with dwarf mountain pines, but after a short stretch, it is accessible from the intersection of footpaths leading from Deska to Korošica or towards the Podvežak mountain. The summit is partially shrunk and offers taller persons a panoramic view of the surrounding area.
The plateau of Dleskovška planota (the old people's name 'Veža' (“The Vestibule”) is a karst plateau in the central-east part of the Kamnik-Savinja Alps. The area of Dleskovška planota extends over an area of 25 km2 from the altitudes of approximately 1500 m with several heaped peaks (Vršiči (1980 m n.v.), Dleskovec (1969 m n.v.), Tolsti vrh (1986 m n.v.), Deska (1970 m n.v.) ...) and the edge peaks Vežica (1965 m n.v.), Lučki Dedec (2023 m n.v.), Poljšakove device (2028 m n.v.), Križevnik (1910 m n.v.) to the highest saddle peak Veliki vrh - Velika Zelenica (2110-2114 m n.v.). Such a heightened area is atypical of the plateau. The newer name is after the mount Dleskovec (1969 m n.v.), located in the central part of the plateau.
The area along the slopes covers 45 km2. The slopes of the plateau extend from the Podvolovjek valley on the southern slope (586 m n.v.), along which the left tributary of the Savinja Lučnica River flows to the confluence of Brložnica and Lučka Bela, which are tributaries of Lučnica. It is bounded to the north by the confluence in the west by the 5.6 km long Lučka Bela valley. Towards the north-west of the plateau, the edge of the area rises to Presedlje (1613 m n.v.), northeast to Vežica (1965 m n.v.) and northeast to Lučki dedec (2023 m n.v.) and to the mountain piedmotic polje Korošica.
The characteristic feature of the plateau is the larch forests and the karst terrain with numerous deep abysses (Zadnikovo brezno, Ledena devica, Brezno pod Moličko pečjo, Brezno sv. Vida) that make up larger cave systems up to the upper forest boundary.
On the plateau Dleskovška planota there are pastures (Vodole, Jezerca, Podvežak, Ravne, Molička...), which also represent an important cultural landscape of the area.
The area of the plateau, with its marked trails, is interesting for both hikers and mountaineers, as it provides easy access to the two-thousandths and access to the very heart of the Kamnik-Savinja Alps.
