Cliffed Coast and the Abrasion Terrace between Fécamp – Étretat
Fécamp is situated at the outflow of the Valmont River into the English Channel (La Manche) in Northern Normandy. It is located around 35 km northeast of Le Havre, and roughly 60 km northwest of Rouen.
Étretat is a commune in the Seine-Maritime department within the Normandy region of north-western France. It is a world-famous tourist and farming town situated about 32 km northeast of Le Havre. The commune rests along the dramatic rocky coastline of the Pays de Caux area, legendary for its sweeping chalk cliffs, natural wave-cut arches, and expansive tidal platforms.
