Šebrelje ( lat: 46°05' N, lon: 13°55' E, elevation.: ~ 600m). The settlement lies on the plateau of Šebrelje above the bed of Idrijca River. The settlement is parceled out to Dolenja vas, Srednja vas and Gorenjo vas. (The Lower, Middle and Upper villages). This area was settled in the time of Würm Ice Age, which indicates archeological findings in Divje Babe where was found the bone flute - the oldest musical instrument known so far. The area is a popular cycling destination. The sausage 'šebrejski želodec' is a recognized geographical designation. |
