The important part of the cultural history heritage of town Žalec is the Širce´s home from the year 1669 on Šlandrov trg. The building is known as the native house of the composer Friderik Širca - Risto Savin. In the house which was renovated in the year1972 is public open Savin´s memorial room, the salon of fine arts and the Gallery Maja of Dore Klemenčič.
