The Lake of Podpec :: Podpeško jezero (Podkrimsko jezero)
The settlement Jezero (The Lake) is situated on the south edge of Ljubljansko
barje (Ljubljana moor). South of the settlement is a valley with a moore
and a karsts lake - The lake of Podpec. The lake has an oval shape with
the length of 135 m and width of 120 m - it is 26 m deep. The lake and
the moore are protected as a nature feature. Inflow of water is by ground
by Mlinski potok and outflow is underground from the bottom of the lake
towards the spring of Hruski potok which is 300 m faraway. |
