In the historical and ethnological part of the exhibition on the second floor, the narrative begins with a display of the Tolmin insurrection and the great Tolmin peasant uprising in 1713, and continues with a presentation of everyday life in the Upper Soča River Valley and important events that took place between the 19th and the end of the 20th centuries:
