Ravenska kočna is an approximately 3 km long, glacially transformed valley from which a glacier once slipped to today's Zgornji Jezerski and merged with the glacier from the west-lying Makekova kočna into a glacier that was the largest in the Kamnik-Savinja Alps. The gabled part of the valley, below Vadine on the east and the Lower Plains on the west, is at an altitude of 1,080 m and descends in a northerly direction to an altitude of 910 m to the Jezerski mountain basin. The old name for Ravenska kočna is Anclova dolina, where there used to be fields, but today they are overgrown with spruce forest. Due to the climatic conditions, rye and barley, as well as potatoes, grew from cereals here.
