Rak river is part of Ljubljanica River basin and flows 1,776 m trough the Rakov Škocjan to the another natural bridge – Big bridge or Veliki most and forward into the blind valley before the Tkalca cave and continues subterranean flow to Planinska jama cave system where is the confluence with the Pivka river and gets the name Unica River. The cave system of Zelške jame is 4,742 m long and with the depth of 45 m.
