Les sentiers des Ocriers. Ochre cliffs known as Le Colorado Provençal are located southern from a village Rustrel, nestled at the foot of the Plateau d'Albion in the Regional park of Luberon. The exploitation of ochre began in the end of the 19th century and Rustrel soon become an important production centre thanks to its ferruginous minerals (FeO3). Most of the area is nowadays an attractive "Mars like" landscape.
